It is responsible for the provision of licensing services, inspection and authorization services and also civic education. Directorate also act as a repository of the authority\u2019s information\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27e4df7 e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"27e4df7\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e8bff0a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e8bff0a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe purpose of the Directorate is to provide regulatory services\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a94ee88 e-flex e-con-boxed wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"a94ee88\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-36d2624 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"36d2624\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<b>The functions of the Directorate is as follows<\/b>\n<ul><li>\n\n    The provision of licensing and authorization services<\/li><li>\n    The inspection and enforcement of standards attached to permits.<\/li>\n<li>\n    The provision of civic education and data bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e73a7da elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e73a7da\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<strong>The Directorate is organized into two Divisions and one Section as follows:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<b>a. Licensing and Authorization Division- It is responsible for<\/b>\n<li>\n\n    The definition of license detailed conditions and financial obligations, to be placed on the licensee.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n    The establishment of procedures for licensing.\n    The review and assessment of application for any institution requiring water abstraction, easement and discharge of effluent.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n    The management of all information data bank of the Authority related to regulatory services.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<br\/<br\/>\n\n<ul>\n<b> b. Inspection and Enforcement Division-It is  responsible for:<\/b>\n<li>\n\n The development and implementation of an inspection programme, and monitoring compliance.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n  The implementation of enforcement policy for responding to non-compliance.\n<\/li>\n<li>\nThe recommendation for amendment or development of regulations\n<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<br\/<br\/>\n\n<ul>\n<b>c.
