This is one of the directorates that carries out the core function of the authority. It is responsible for monitoring, management and development of water resources and also the monitoring of water quality and pollution control.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-44f2b5a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"44f2b5a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe purpose of the directorate is to manage and develop water resources.\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0f02b34 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0f02b34\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<b>The Functions of this are<\/b><ul><li>The provision of surface water services.<\/li>\n\n<li>The provision of ground water services.<\/li>\n\nThe provision of water quality services.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b3d28c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7b3d28c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<b>The directorate is dived into three divisions as follows:<\/b>\n<ul><li>\n\n   <b> Surface Water Division-<\/b> Responsible for the management, development and monitoring of surface water sources.<\/li>\n<li>\n <b>   Ground Water Division- <\/b>Responsible for the management, development and monitoring of ground water sources.<\/li>\n<li>\n  <b> Water Quality Division<\/b> &#8212; Responsible for the monitoring of water quality and pollution.<\/li><\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The directorate is headed by the Director of Water Resources<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"elementor_header_footer","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-214","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.6 -
